Jake Smiley - Owner/Operator
Born and raised in Huntersville, I attended Lake Norman Charter High School from 2009-2013 before attending Appalachian State University. At App state, I discovered a love for the natural and physical sciences, graduating with a B.S. degree in Cell/Molecular Biology in 2017. Since then, I have worked in several fields including Commercial construction management, Property/Community Management, and even a few years as an automotive body technician. I have a love of tinkering and figuring out how things work, as well as fixing things that are broken. I now live in Statesville with my Fiancé, daughter, and our two dogs
How we got here:
As a CMCA accredited community manager, I have several years of experience in managing HOA/COA/POA's. Part of my responsibilities include handling maintenance requests for various buildings/homes.
This is where I realized there is a real need for companies that provide reliable and affordable handyman type services. Larger contractors tend to only want to tackle larger jobs, leaving those with smaller needs on the backburner. I aim to fill the need of the everyday customer who just needs some help taking things off of their To-Do list.

I pride myself on being a "Jake" of all trades, and love learning new skills to add to my repertoire of services. If I am unable to provide a service you need, then I have also built a vast array of trustworthy contractors that I am always happy to recommend.
